Hi Family,
This will have to be a short email. Something interesting just happened. I was sitting here, getting all ready to email you all, when the Sister next to me, Sister Shurtz, got an email saying that she needed to contact the mission pres. She called him, and the mission pres told her that her sister just passed away. It was crazy, because we found this out, and then my email actually locked on me...I couldn't email any of you, nor the mission president. So, I was just thinking about her, and so I went in the bathroom with her and her comp, and it was just a really powerful experience. When you are on the Lord's errand, you are entitled to the Lord's help. It was also really cool, thinking about how my patriarchal blessing tells me that I will "comfort those that have need to mourn", and it was cool that I have been able to see that come to pass on my mission many times. So, after being in the bathroom with them, I came back out, and a few minutes later, my email unlocked. Coincidence? I think not. So, keep Sister Shurtz and her family in your prayers!
Well, so, like I said, this'll have to be short. Hope you're all doing well! The mission craziness continues. So, we are trying really hard to get three baptisms in May! Oh how I want it to happen. So, we had a crazy experience with Ramiro. Turns out he's leaving to Mexico today! So, we made this big push, trying to get him to get baptized, talked to President on the phone and everything, and then it ended up not happening. Later on, he texted us and apologized, saying he had been lying to us, and really he just didn't want to get baptized now! Craziness! Anyways, so that was the drama of the week.
But we have some great investigators. 12 year old ivette is the daughter of a less active who already reads the book of mormon and loves it. Yesterday at church, I spoke, and we did a musical number, and then we also taught young womens. Very involved! Anyways, I think I'll just end this email now...we must be off. On the Lord's Errand! Anywho, love you all, have a great week! Love, Sister Fors
