Helloooo Familia Fors!

So, I don't have a ton of time to write you all, but hopefully the pictures and my kinda long email to president will make up for it. Oh, by the wayyy, Happy Labor Day! Have fun bbqing and whatever else people do on holidays..I think I've forgotten haha.

Ok, anyways, a good week. We taught a lot of lessons and found a lot of new people to teach. However, as for all the new people to teach, I feel like now is kind of the time to see which of all those people are really interested...I kind of feel like we're going to be going through a really big cycle. But, there were some really great people we started teaching! We're seeing a lot of blessings coming from the weekly planning, I feel like it's helping me to have higher sights about what all we can accomplish in a day. Also, we had zone conf this past week and Pres Ellsworth told us we should not be spending more than 30 min in a home, in and out the door, regularly. So, we applied it and we've seen miracles!

Ok, I have to tell you about a really interesting experience we had last week (the sing-off). We went to visit some LA's whose mom we're teaching, and we met this born-again Christian lady outside the apartment. We started talking with her, and she was super nice, but then started kinda changing her tone and went off about how we needed to ask God if we were really saved (implying we weren't). We left, and went and talked to the lessactives, and we were sitting outside their apartment. The born-again lady came with her husband and friends, and they sat down and invited themselves into the chat! Hahaha, so they were being really friendly and it was all fine, but I was a little nervous about what their motives were. Then our less-actives started asking them questions, and asking their opinions on blood transfusions, miracles, etc. We were like Noooo! So, then we try to suggest that we'll sing a hymn, and the lady is like "lets sing one we all know! I shouldve brought my guitar!" ahhaha. And then they continue talking, we don't sing, and she starts takling to us. She was standing up and we were sitting down in these lawn chairs. She starts telling us her various ideas, and for some reason, it just really bothered me that she was standing, and we were sitting, adn we had no control over the conversation. I got the strongest impression that we really needed to stand up. So, in the middle of her talking, I just grab sister watkins by the arm, adn I'm like "we're standing up." and she's liek 'Okayyy!" and I just like interrupt all conversation adn I'm like "well, we have been called by a prophet of God to share what we know, and we're going to sing now, to share what we know." and I picked the Spirit of God, because it's about the restoration. So we belted out the Spirit of God in the middle of this apartment complex! To all these born again Christians and our less-actives! And then we testified of the restoration, said a  prayer, and left. Haha!

But, it was like the cooolest experience, because it taught me about the power and authority of our calling. One I won't forget. Love you all! SIster Fors
